Hyatt's Family of Responsible and Caring Employees

FORCE. is a volunteer program that allows Hyatt associates worldwide to participate in local community outreach and volunteer efforts on paid company time. We are proud of the contributions made by our employees to their communities throughout the years. Together Hyatt and Make-A-Wish Foundation® continue with Hyatt’s longstanding commitment to making a difference. Hyatt established a partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, an organization that grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. The spirit of the alliance is to have each Hyatt property worldwide help to generate funding and support to grant at least one wish for the benefit of kids, families and communities.

Global Team Stay Fit at Hyatt

An initiative for Hyatt associates to further the company’s commitment to our Family Of Responsible and Caring Employees (F.O.R.C.E.) program, as well as our health and well being. We are very excited about this program, as it reinforces Hyatt’s global commitment to helping others and bettering ourselves in the process. This initiative adds energy to our current F.O.R.C.E. efforts on charitable fundraising as well as volunteering for three great organizations; Multiple Sclerosis Society, Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. STAY FIT AT HYATT is a dynamic selection of workout programs that caters to fitness-conscious business and leisure travelers staying at Hyatt Hotels & Resorts®. In that spirit, Team Stay Fit will become known as a team of Hyatt associates, friends and family that participate in fundraising efforts to fight for causes championed by the MS Society, Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization and Make-A-Wish Foundation. Associates are encouraged to participate in all events:

The MS 150 – a 150-mile bike trek through the Colorado Rocky Mountains to support Multiple Sclerosis. In the past 10 years, Hyatt associates have participated in this challenging event and have raised upwards of $65,000. Teams have formed in Illinois, Colorado, California, Florida, Washington State, and Texas and Hyatt colleagues from around the world have already registered. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon – celebrating it's 31st year as one of the premier Marathons in the world, Hyatt is thrilled to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation. We are pleased to be entering the third year of our partnership with Make-A-Wish, a organization that grants wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with strength and hope. We hope to exceed last year’s goal of over 100 runners representing Team Stay Fit, while raising almost $150,000. Y-ME 5K walk. run to Empower - benefiting the Y-ME Breast Cancer Organization. The mission of Y-ME National Breast Cancer Organization is to ensure, through information, empowerment and peer support that no one faces breast cancer alone. Given the format of this event, the 450 plus Hyatt colleagues, family and friends participating are from the specific cities in which the event is held. 12 cities throughout the U.S. participated: Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Phoenix, Sacramento, San Diego, Seattle, and D.C. America's Promise

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is joining forces with a national crusade to build the character and competence of our nation’s youth. That is the mission of America’s Promise—The Alliance for Youth, an organization founded in 1997 at the Presidents’ Summit for America’s Future in Philadelphia at which five living presidents challenged Americans to contribute time, talents and treasure to support America’s children. Retired General Colin L. Powell is the founding chairman. The Alliance encourages ongoing commitment to the Five Promises necessary for children to become successful adults, including:

Caring Adult: Provide an ongoing relationship between a caring adult and young person, including weekly meetings and structured interaction.

Safe Place: Provide safe places for kids during non-school hours with structured activities.

Healthy Start: Give kids a healthy start on success through programs that provide health coverage, health and nutrition education, and primary medical care.

Marketable Skill: Help kids develop a marketable skill through effective education, plus after school jobs, job shadowing or internship programs.

Opportunities to SERVE: Offer kids an opportunity to give back through community service, with a focus on helping other kids.
